FIRST RIDES: RADIO FLYER

 RADIO FLYER IS COOL

 We went to the Curve during my outstation to Malacca...We went there on our way back to Ipoh... Actually we wanna go to Toys R Us....however, there was a Toy Fair that time and we saw this Ride from  Radio Flyer...at First my husband and i hesitate of buying it...but my daughter out of nowhere simply said 'Bak!Bak!" ( meanings " I WANT!!!!!") and sit on that ride!!

THANK GOD WE BROUGHT ENOUGH MONEY....haha....so we bought it....but she really loves that ride...at first she really doesn't know how to scoot the thing...then as days passed by...she is getting well equipped....hahah..

BALLOONS PLAY FOR A SICK BABY

Saraya is Down with fever...so i thought perhaps by putting some balloons inside her tub will at least decrease her temperature or make her happy a bit... hee

This is very simple...all u have to do is just THROW SOME BALLOONS and WATCH HER PLAY!!!

OUR OWN SARAYA'S TURNS ONE CANVAS PICTURE

OUR FIRST CANVAS DRAWING ( NOT ME ACTUALLY...MY HUSBAND DID THIS)

So my husband is way more talented in drawing than me...he loves drawing while im better with colours...anyhow...this canvas ideas came after i come across a Pinterest page on what things you can do and keep for ur kids to view back once they get older...so i said to my husband...why not drawing our daughter's cartoon face and make the guests to sign or wish their wishes on that canvas during Saraya's Birthday...

So he agreed and he started to do some sketch...

This is the 80% of that drawing.. the complete one i will upload on Saraya's birthday

cute isn't it? haha..im gonna write down Saraya Turns One inside the ballon...

Basically my husband used

1. Canvas board

2. Acrylic colours

3. that eyes ( up to u creativity since he cant really draw eyes...haha

4. Sharpie Black Pen ( To highlight the outer parts)

DIY CAKE STAND

Good Morning People!!!

We are planning to do a BIG rainbow cake for my daughter's first birthday....so we need a cake stand...hahah..

So while i was browsing few websites, i noticed you can make a simple cake stand using foams ...

So we went on to a wedding supplies shop here in Giant, Ipoh ... Bunga - Bunga Cinta the name of these shop... i bought

1. 2 round foams

2. Pink Crepe Paper

3. UHU glue

4. ivory or skin colour ribbon

5. purple ribbon to make a bow tie

now here is the step

1. you have to stick the two foams together.

2. using double sided tapes, stick the crepe paper on the sides of the foams...here's mine

Ignore the background picture...this one my sister did...for me it is beautiful!

3. Then, I glued the ribbon to make it look a bit ..... i don't know... you guess...

4. Final touch.... just add a bow tie...(I made the bow tie by myself after watching like four tutorials....hahah)

Taraaa!!!!

 That's it...A simple cake stand.... Please ignore my amateur skill..i did all of these not to impress people..just wanna try something different so i will not be a boring mummy and a housewife...

READING OBSESSIONS

I like seeing my daughter with her books...she can flip and study the book for hours...

Yesterday she flipped this one book like it was a serious business...haha...not to mention she even pulled of few of the attached paper eggs inside it...btw...this book is so simple and cool...no wonder my daughter loves pulling those quirky eggs...

DIY PRINCESS CROWN FROM FOAM

Saraya's first birthday princess crown...gitu!!!

i was having a hard time on deciding whether i should use felt or foam...im not that good with sewing u know...so i decided i should choose something that u can just staple or glued it..heee

materials needed
1. foam
2. pom pom balls
3. UHU glue (it is famous in Malaysia to use UHU...haha)
4. ornaments ( i used blue and red gemstones)
5. lace ( up to u what kind of lace u wanna use)

so this is how my princess crown looks like... but need a lil bit of touch up..

1. first i cut the foam into a princess crown ( a bit horrible my cutting skills...you can choose any pattern u prefer to do)

2. then u just add up some gemstone ( like this pic) or depends on your creativity..

see...the cutting is not even...hahah

3. then...i glued the lace in the middle and sew pom pom balls ( i have to sew it cu it wont stay at place if i just glued it)

this is how my princess crown looks like.. 

There!!!very simple one for our simple daughter!!

Just a few more touch up then it will be the most beautiful crown i've made...hahah...u will see the complete one during Saraya's birthday
